As legend has it, the Oak King and the Holly King fight for the admiration of Litha during the Winter Solstice.  The Oak King defeats the Holly King and reigns until Midsummer until they duel, yet again, and the Holly King reigns until Midwinter. 

Winter Solstice embodies the tale of the Oak King and the well known tradition of the burning of the Yule Log.  This woodsy scent inspires a sense of nature that fills the home with a sensation of a wood burning fire to welcome back the sun.
